I can has vision
Huzzah! I can see!!!

rarelylynne's LJ, my glasses broke on Saturday when the bridge made like it was a David Lean film finale. I had a sucktastic couple of days with blurred vision and headaches.
This morning we took a trip to ye olde optometrists to see what could be done. Once we got there, Lynne and I discovered that we were well past the warranty. And to top it off, our vision plan only pays for glasses every two years. I purchased the broken pair 1 year and 351 days ago.
The lovely optician, however, took my lenses and placed them in a spare frame at no charge. The frames also look like my old ones. Yays!
So ends a minor problem in our lives.
