Nice Day for a Sulk

Well, rarelylynne is off training to be a leader in Grafton, IL. It’s just Caitlin, the kitties, and me until Thursday night. Par-tay!

*sigh*

There’s not too much else going on around here. We saw The Dark Knight yesterday (thanks to my mom who watched Caitlin), and it lived up to expectations. I do think that they missed a golden opportunity by not playing Prince’s Batdance over the end credits.

My week will pretty much consist of watching Caitlin and writing a little when she sleeps.

Lynne Leaving Makes the Sky Cry...

Caitlin is in bed, and I have a Molly kitty in my lap.

Tonight was less than fun. A line of storms whipped through the area. Sirens went off, and I got to carry my daughter down to our unfinished basement to wait it out. No tornadoes dropped down around here, and we still have power. Both are very good things.

Well, I’m off to bed.
