I was getting ready to jump back into writing a short story when I read some horrible news. Another Aicardi girl passed away on Sunday. We knew the girl and her family. She was only 8 and less medically complicated than our daughter.

This is the second girl to pass last week. We didn’t know the first one.

I cried in the Panera. I can’t write. The only thing I want to do is hug Caitlin.
