Eat Your Hearts Out, Brownings

It was a lovely morning after a stressful few days. rarelylynne used the morning to write from home. For the first time, Lynne and I sat side by side on our laptops working on our books. I started the penultimate chapter of my novel, and Lynne made some good progress on her Rare Books 2.0 book.

It was kind of sweet. When we first started seeing each other 9 years ago, we used to daydream about being writers together. We didn’t exactly take an obvious path, but somehow we’ve arrived.

Lynne and I then picked up the girl from school and had lunch with our awesome friend Lise. It was a happy thing. It’s very rare that Cait and I get to go out to lunch.

In other news, my grandmother has stabilized. It’s now at the one day at a time stage. Things are still bad, but modern medicine has found ways to prolong it.
