Life Goes On

Life goes on around here. They’re finally installing the new gutters on the house. It took over a year for this “two-day job” to happen. I guess it’s the price you pay for getting a HUD grant.
Caitlin is doing much better. She made it through the night without vomiting. She’s tired this morning, but otherwise happy and healthy.
Easter Seals has decided that they want Caitlin to be a model for their promotional materials. This will apparently involve a photographer chasing after us as Caitlin does her Caitlin thing. There will even be a gallery show of the photos at The College of DuPage.
I’ve been asked to write my grandmother’s eulogy. I’m a little freaked out about this. I’ve never given one before, and I just don’t know if I can do her justice. The memorial mass is next Tuesday, so I have some time to think about what I’m going to say.
