rarelylynne pretty much said it all about our dinner with Cory Doctorow. I kept pretty silent while they did their thing. Cory was as cool as I hoped he would be. I’m very happy that we’ve yet to met a SF author who wasn’t smart, polite, funny, and interesting.
We’re starting to gear up for WisCon. It should be a blast. I spent much of the day preparing Lynne’s “hit list.” She’s already sent out some preliminary emails and had a couple of awesome authors make positive noises. It also seems that we will be packing that NIU Prius full with boxes of archives from at least 4 different authors. Lynne might have to strap me to the roof of the car on the way back just so we have enough room. I should probably wear some antlers so that we don’t get pulled over by a Wisconsin State Trooper.
Caitlin is well. She’s still doing the constant beat box thing. I guess it’s better than coloring on the walls. :)
