It’s a lazy weekend. The highlight was we took Caitlin to see Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. We learned a few things from the experience.
1- Caitlin gets in free since she’s in a wheelchair. Add that to very short list of positives of being a child with severe disabilities.
2- Caitlin loved the movie. The size of the screen meant that she could clearly view the film, and the Dolby surround sound kept her awake. My daughter also loved the action scenes. She’s all about the roller derby.
3- I have no critical abilities while initially watching an Indiana Jones film. I become an eight year old as soon as that John Williams’s score kicks in.
4- Hellboy 2 looks amazing.
After some adult reflection, I think I know why Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull underwhelmed some people.
