Hooray! No seizures today!
Jun. 27th, 2008 09:31 pmWe made it through the day, and that’s all anybody can ask for in this world.
Caitlin was moody and tired, but free of seizures. The morning was modestly exciting since we watched her best friend Lily for a few hours. The girls watched Pocahontas, and then played the Disney Princess Jewelry Game and some Uno. Lily even participated in Caitlin’s speech therapy. They had a lot fun together,
That’s one of those things that you really worry about as a parent of a special child. It makes me so happy that Caitlin has real friends.
After lunch, we took a trip to the public library and grabbed a couple of DVDs. We got home just in time to see the Cubs game (I don’t want to talk about it).
The evening ended with us watching a library copy of the DragonLance DVD. Woof! What an awful movie. I can’t believe that they released that piece of junk. The animation was this hodgepodge of hand-drawn animation that wasn’t up to Thundercats standards with CGI monsters that looked like they were out of a Sega Genesis game. I never read the book, so I’m just hoping that things were mangled in the translation.
Currently reading: Altered Carbon by Richard K. Morgan
