Caitlin's Birthday!!!

Caitlin was born six years ago today. It was a wonderful and rough day. rarelylynne ended up getting an emergency c-section after days of labor. Caitlin and Lynne were both beautiful. I spent the rest of that day running back and forth between Lynne's room and the NICU. I was awake for about 40 hours by the time they moved Caitlin up to the maternity ward.

Cait's home sick today. She threw up a bit last night. I doesn't seem to be anything serious. Unfortunately, Lynne is gone until late tonight. Today is the big Friends of the NIU Libraries shindig with NPR's Peter Sagal.

We watched Caitlin's new DVD of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace yesterday. I guess we'll probably watch the next two today.
