The best laid schemes...
Jan. 7th, 2009 12:48 pmWith Murder Ballads away with readers, I had booked the next few weeks to work on a short story idea. Then I had a late-night epiphany that cracked me up. Suddenly, that short story embiggened into the start of my second novel.
It looks like I finally have that distraction from Murder Ballads that I needed. :)
I'm now buried in research.
rarelylynne is such an asset for such things. I'm itching to do some actual writing, but I really need to get some world building done before I start.
Just finished reading: Blood Engines by T.A. Pratt
Kalpa Imperial by Angelica Gorodischer
Currently Reading: The Stepsister Scheme by Jim C. Hines
