There is nothing going on today. Not surprisingly, I'm a mess. I just can't focus on anything. I really don't know how to relax.
Caitlin is home today since there's no summer school on Fridays. We're watching the Cubs getting killed by the Indians. There's a stack of Doctor Who Magazines I could be reading, but I'm still missing my Doctor Who mojo. I'm also getting ready to bail from the novel that I'm currently reading. I'm over 100 pages into it, and it's just not grabbing me.
Sunday can't come soon enough. :)
There's not much else going on around here. An old insurance billing problem came back to haunt me yesterday. Hopefully, some faxing of EOBs on Monday will fix it. Oh, how I love my battles with the broken healthcare system. :P
We had a nice evening out in Downtown Sycamore last night with our friends Sarah and David. We ate dinner at our favorite local Mexican restaurant and then took a walk around Ye Olde Small Town Main Street. The highlight was popping into a new vintage arcade. As it turns out, I still suck at Donkey Kong. Sarah and David played some Skee Ball and gave their tickets to Caitlin. Cait now owns some beautiful plastic bracelets.
