rarelylynne covered the details of our weekend (at least the details we can talk about) over at her blog.

It was a strange convention for me. In many respects, this was the torch pass. Lynne is becoming the Doctor Who fandom BNF of the family due to Chicks Dig Time Lords. Fluid Links is still "forthcoming," and I'm only a small piece of it. I've pretty much already achieved all that I will in the Doctor Who sphere.

I don't mind this at all. I would rather be "aspiring writer" than "Doctor Who guy." With Doctor Who returning to just a hobby, this convention felt like an actual vacation. I got to hang out with friends, eat good food, and have fun.

The only negative of the weekend was Caitlin getting all barfy for my mom. Everything turned out fine, but I hate being away from my daughter when she's sick.
