The AFI just released it lists of top ten films by genre. Like most AFI lists, they're arbitrary lists of crap. Here are the science fiction and fantasy lists:

Yup, Big and Miracle on 34th Street are better fantasy movies than anything ever made by Terry Gilliam or Tim Burton. Great job!
