As always, Chicago TARDIS was phenomenal. It was a bit of a blur for me this year. I spent most of the weekend hanging out with friends. I also seem to remember sitting on panels, participating in many Mad Norwegian Press discussions, and meeting a bunch of awesome people. My brain is unable to write an entire con report, so I'll make a list of awesome things.
1- Lis Sladen being so sweet to Caitlin that
rarelylynne and I cried with happiness.
2- Hanging out with old friends
christapolis, The Mad Norwegian,
michaellee,
frozendragon, Samantha,
dark_aegis,
nnwest, Robert Smith?,
taraljc, and Steve Manfred.
3- Sitting in the lobby with our other old friends Bohus, Anne, and Bill Baggs.
4- Getting to know
jigglykat and
spastasmagoria.
5- Watching
renn smack down the rude asshat who called Lis a Diva.
6- Luxuriating in the wonderful hotel.
7- Meeting
kateorman and
jblum.
8- Getting to reconnect with
robshearman and Gary Russell.
9- The Puddle.
10- My spiffy new action figures. My inner 11-year-old is still giddy.
11- Spending time with all of the other people who would take to long to list.
12- Getting a response from Gary, Paul, Kate, and Jon years later to Mad Larry's “Last Interview.”
13- The wonderful convention and hotel staffs.
14- Watching the Torchwood Babiez story unfurl.
Well, that was all nicely vague. I'll leave it to Lynne to get more specific. We already miss all of our Doctor Who peeps. I think we need a Doctor Who relaxicon just to hang out more.
