Sweet, sweet rejection...

I received my first rejection from The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction today. This is not a shock. I know dozens of talented, award-winning authors who can't crack this market. In many ways, this is a badge of honor.
The story is now off to Fantasy Magazine. According to the new submission system, I am number 29 in the queue. :)
It's a rainy, dreary day in DeKalb. I cleaned house, and took care of some Caitlin business. Make-A-Wish is contacting her doctors, and I've started the ball rolling to get her into hippotherapy (therapy on horseback).
There's not much else going on around here. I can't really write fiction while watching Caitlin, so I'm doing some associate editing for Mad Norwegian Press. I'm about halfway through Time Unincorporated: The Doctor Who Fanzine Archives, Vol. 1: Lance Parkin. It's an excellent book. I'm really glad that MNP is putting it out.
