Spring has sprung

It took me two days to move from cursing the never-ending rain to swearing at the grass that needs to be mowed. I don't know if I will ever embrace this whole home-owning thing.
Some random thoughts:
1- Eric Flint had heart surgery this week. It sounds like this is just a routine bypass, but please keep him in your thoughts. Eric is a great guy.
2- Our WisCon planning is in full swing. It's fun watching
rarelylynne do her archivist thing. An awesome author just said yes to archiving after Lynne sent a lunch invite. We're also having dinner with a literary legend. Lynne has the coolest job in the world.
3- Caitlin had a quiet week. Hooray!
4- I changed writing gears. My brain tells me that I need to write a children's novel. I wrote the first 1100 words and then realized that I should probably do some worldbuilding. I am a headlight writer, but it helps to have at least a rough idea of the terrain. A plot would also be helpful. :
