Locus Recommended Lists

I wanted to post a quick shout-out to all of my friends/acquaintances who made this year's Locus Recommended Reading list, but then I realized I know too many people. :-)
What the heck, here I go. Congratulations to
tim_pratt,
yuki_onna,
seanan_mcguire,
tobias_buckell, Jack McDevitt, Gene Wolfe,
ecbatan,
cristalia,
coffeeem,
matociquala,
paulcornell2, Ted Kosmatka,
maryrobinette,
ellen_kushner,
truepenny,
j_cheney, Theodora Goss,
deliasherman, and anybody else who made the lists that I only sort-of know.
Kage Baker also made a few of the lists. Since these lists are essentially the Locus Awards nominee lists, I'm very pleased to see her in three categories. Kage didn't win enough awards in her lifetime.
The lists look pretty solid. My only gripes are the lack of love for continuing novel series and the separation of the first novels from the other novels' lists. It seems odd to me that when the Locus Award online voting starts, The Windup Girl won't be one of the drop-down choices for Best Science Fiction novel.
What the heck, here I go. Congratulations to
