Amazing Journey
Aug. 21st, 2008 08:49 amYesterday was uneventful. Today should be more of the same. Lynne spent yesterday writing like a fiend while I took care of the Cait. The only excitement for me was talking to the Mad Norwegian on the phone about various projects. 2009 is shaping up to be a busy year for the press with 7 to 10 releases.
Today I need to get back to Fluid Links. Unfortunately, I’m in a section that sucks out my enthusiasm. I have trouble caring about author bitch-slap fights from 12 years ago. It doesn’t help that the argument seems pointless in retrospect. Oh, the stupid things that worked people up during Doctor Who’s Wilderness Years...
Other than that, it will be a day of laundry and keeping Caitlin and the kitten happy. If the rain doesn't get too bad, we might swing over to the DeKalb Public Library.
Caitlin starts school in one week. That should stress me out a bit with a new school, teacher, and individual assistant. Change unnerves me. :)
Just finished reading: Tigana by Guy Gavriel Kay (it lived up to its reputation)
Currently reading: Storm Front by Jim Butcher
