I want a do-over

As most of you know from the other social-networking sites, Caitlin had a rough day yesterday. Right as we were about to put on her coat for school, she started a seizure. Normally, they keep on coming until I give her rectal valium. Instead, she had two more spread out over the next 3 hours. I’m glad that I didn’t need to administer the emergency med, but it did mean that I spent the whole day watching her like a hawk.

Between that and Lynne having to teach a class, we also missed book club. :(

Caitlin is at school as I write this. Hopefully, my cell phone will stay quiet. She hasn’t had a seizure at this school yet, and it would be nice to keep it that way.

There’s not much else going on that I can talk about. It seems that rarelylynne might have landed a very prestigious author for the NIU SF Archives. My wife does an awesome job.

I’m still trucking through About Time 3: Second Edition. It actually inspired me to watch Doctor Who and the Silurians last night. I’m not a big fan of the Pertwee era, but it is enjoyable in small doses. Also, Liz Shaw is made of win.

Now it’s time to continue with my psychotic persistence. The novel isn’t going to write itself. That only happens to James Patterson.
