WisCon- The Aftermath
May. 26th, 2009 10:03 pmI lost my voice. Through some combination of crappy hotel air conditioning and constant speaking, I came home with my first case of laryngitis in years. Amazingly,
rarelylynne still has her voice.
It was a strange convention. We had a wonderful time with our old and new friends (the list is getting too long to type), and we already miss all of you. The food was excellent, the drinks did their job, and the conversations were fascinating. Of course, things were also tense as hell. In the end, though, everybody survived.
My panels went well. The only problem with them was that we never quite had any counterpoints. It would be nice to do these panels again at Chicago TARDIS to see if we can get some actual debate.
Caitlin behaved all weekend. For her good behavior, she got a signed copy of
sarah_prineas's The Magic Thief: Lost. She seems to have inherited her mother's ability to squee. :)
