So, what's going on with that wacky Thomas family? This and that.

- Caitlin is still learning how to use her communication device. She has good days and awful days (awful to the point that I'm sure it's deliberate). I believe that the biggest obstacle is getting Caitlin to understand that this is her voice and not just some thing to make her do more tedious school work.

- [livejournal.com profile] rarelylynne continues to do that Superstar thing. College and Research Libraries reviewed her co-authored book book Special Collections 2.0 and said it was "vital reading for current and future special-collections professionals." The interview request are getting a little bit ridiculous. She just completed an interview with a prestigious magazine that most of you know. There are further interview requests from 2 blogs and 3 podcasts. These interviews cover her work as an SF/F Archivist, Rare Book Librarian blogger, and Co-editor of Chicks Dig Time Lords. Did I mention I'm proud of my wife? :-)

- Lynne's Chicks Dig Time Lords promotion train keeps on rolling. The book will be taking over Madison, Wisconsin in the coming weeks. There's a panel scheduled at Odyssey Con on April 18, a book signing and reading with [livejournal.com profile] taraoshea, Kathryn Sullivan, Tammy Garrison, and Carole Barrowman at A Room of One's Own on April 25, and a panel at WisCon with hopefully a couple of the authors from the NYC events.

- We started work on the two Sekrit Projects. My part on one of the projects is going to take a lot of time and focus. We had a lovely conference call this week with our partner in crime. If the call is anything to go on, this is going to be a fun year.

- The new series of Doctor Who starts this weekend. I'm cautiously optimistic.
