Chicks Dig Time Lords by Country
Apr. 5th, 2010 12:24 pmSince this has come up in a few places, I'm putting on my Associate Editor's hat and actually listing the breakdown of the book by country.
There were 28 contributors to the book including interview subjects. A few of the contributors have dual-citizenship which makes this a bit more confusing. Here is the list based on what country each contributor lived in when they became a fan of Doctor Who:
US: 17 (61%)
UK: 7 (25%)
Aust: 2 (7%)
Canada: 2 (7%)
As with any anthology, many possible contributors were contacted. There were at least 10 UK and Australian fans/professionals who were unable to participate in the project for various reasons.
Chicks Dig Time Lords has a Facebook fan page with about 750 fans. Here are the membership stats for comparison with the contributors' stats:
US: 71%
UK: 16%
Aust: 8%
Canada: 3%
Other: 2%
I'm not drawing any conclusions from this data, but I do find it interesting.
