I have a stupid brain

For no particular reason, my brain decided that it should be awake at 5:30 am this morning.
The positive is that I had a chance to work on some rewrites. The negative is that I am now ready to go back to bed. Of course, I’m sure that just about everybody reading this shares in that desire on a Monday morning.
The weekend was pretty unglamorous. I did some rewrites, read a little, and hid from the rain. The biggest event was that we took Caitlin to a classmate’s birthday party. His family was very nice, and we had a good time.
We also watched "Forest of the Dead" with Sarah and David.
I enjoyed Moffat’s new Doctor Who, though I’m not quite sure why he bothered to set it in a library since the plot and themes had almost nothing to do with books or reading. The last couple of minutes also set my teeth on edge, but what can you do? That’s how new Doctor Who rolls. At least it wasn’t as cheesetastic as the end of "Voyage of the Damned." I’m waiting for RTD to do a Special Edition of "Earthshock" where it turns out that Adric used his supermath to recreate Castrovalva as his afterlife.
River Song is a great addition to the series, though I wish that Moffat had called her Bernice Summerfield. Other than having to pay Cornell some money, there was no reason not to own up to River being Bernice.
