michaeldthomasIn an answer to absolutely no fan outcry, Douglas Adams’s widow decided to have author Eoin Colfer write a new Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy book.
In other new, Uwe Boll is in talks to direct Citizen Kane II: The Reckoning.
I realize that publishing is a business, but this buggering of legacies just makes me sad. Hitchhiker’s was special because of Adams’s voice and dark, existential humor. Not to mention, the last novel in the series that he wrote was already mostly unnecessary.
*sigh*
